Babs

For our first Member Spotlight, there is no one more deserving than "Babs" a.k.a. Mz. Norman. To most  of us she is the "hub" of Local 34, we cannot truly express to her the appreciation she deserves, but we hope that she knows how much we do.

Here is Barb on her 1998 Dyna Wide Glide Harley-Davidson, the $5 Bike. This is her 3rd bike, the first 2 being a Suzuki Intruder and a Kawasaki Vulcan. Of course this is her baby, being that it is the one she won in the "98" FORR bike drawing during Homecoming at Bagnel Damn in 1998.

During her membership of the past 8 years of Local 34, Barb has held the office of Secretary, Public Relations Rep. and for the last four years as Central Committee Rep. Of course Barb is a rider and has been for some time so the laws and regulations are important to her as well as just being a representative for Local 34.

Barb is known for her collection of hats the she is always wearing and her "fun, distinctive and colorful" outfits that she has been seen in. When ask about Leather or Lace?  A very strong Both was the answer. Barbs motto for life is

 "Moments of brilliance, decades of darkness but live for the moment."

So, if you happen to see this Dreamcatcher, be sure and tell her how much it means to have her for a friend.
