"Legs"

This Member Spotlight is dedicated to Donna "Legs" Wilcoxon. We called Babs the Hub of Local 34, so then Donna would have to be many of the spokes of the wheel.

Donna has only been a member of Local 34 for 1-1/2 years but has been a big influence and part in the Local, besides having been secretary for Local 34 since being a member she can be seen at almost every function or event for Local 34 and others in the area. She is always willing to do her part plus more and not think anything about.

Besides being active in Local 34,Donna is a full time mother and business woman. Then in her spare time you may find her playing softball or volleyball, she has teams that she is instrumental in organizing for both sports. She states that she is a "Very Competitive" person, but even so you may find her relaxing on the river given the chance to get there. Another of her hobbies is taking pictures, so watch out if she's around and your doing something you don't want any proof of.

But enough of her angelic qualities she has been known to break out the cue and play a game of pool or darts and be a bit "Rowdy" at times. Even though she can be Rowdy, she also has the reputation of being the only person that has went a whole year without pissing off Dave R.

Donna is just a down to earth woman that was quite the Tomboy when she was younger and has ridden horses and even dirt bikes when she was growing up. She has since started riding her own street bike, a Honda VTX 1800, pictured here, that she has been riding since September of 2002.

I think that most of us could learn a lesson from Donna when it comes to attitude. Anytime you ask her if she had fun her response is " I always have fun." So it is fitting that she said her quote would be "Life's to short, so enjoy it while you can."
